I disagree. My legs can't walk pass the cliff. So I will use other means, zoom lens or fly there.
Basically I use what I have to try to capture the shot. So my legs are not always the best. Zoom lens are more flexible for travel than fix lens. Zoom in when you can't get there with your legs. While fix lens, you get a tiny bit more image quality.
